Immersion Training Residency
Your Dog's 2nd Home provides professional behavior modification and dog training services in Crown Point, Indiana, specializing in aggressive and reactive dogs. Our 4-week Behavioral Reset program is specifically designed for dogs with deep-seated behavioral issues. We use balanced training methods combining positive reinforcement with clear boundaries, ensuring your dog learns in a real home environment rather than a kennel.
Our Immersion Training Residency programs range from $1,900 for 2-week Essential Foundations to $3,400 for 4-week Behavioral Reset. We also offer In-Home Lifestyle Coaching packages starting at $150 per session. We believe professional training should be accessible, so we offer flexible financing options and payment plans to fit your budget.
Unlike industrial kennels, your dog lives directly in our home in Crown Point. They sleep indoors, learn in a real living room, and are treated like a member of our family. This ensures the training actually transfers back to your home environment.
To ensure your dog stays focused on their transformation, we do not do mid-stay visits. However, you aren't left in the dark! You'll receive regular photo and video updates so you can see their progress and celebrate their wins with us.
No dog is "too bad" for a conversation. Because of our background in behavioral rehabilitation, we specialize in dogs that other trainers have turned away. For these cases, we require our 4-week Behavioral Reset to ensure we can safely and effectively move the needle on deep-seated issues.
In-Home Lifestyle Coaching
Yes! We provide In-Home coaching across Lake and Porter Counties, including Crown Point, Winfield, St. John, Cedar Lake, Schererville, Dyer, Munster, Highland, Merrillville, and Valparaiso. Our service area covers the entire Northwest Indiana region.

We know NWI families are busy. We offer a limited number of evening and weekend slots for our In-Home packages to ensure you can be present and focused for your dog's coaching.
Training Philosophy & Tools
It means we use a complete "yes" and "no" system. We motivate with rewards (food, toys, praise) and provide clear, fair boundaries so the dog understands exactly what is expected of them. This creates the most reliable results in the real world.

Special Needs & Grandson's Mission
Yes. This is a personal mission of ours. Inspired by our own grandson's journey with autism, we offer specialized consultations for families looking to introduce a dog into a neurodivergent household. We focus on sensory-friendly training and safety-first protocols.

Because dogs are living beings with their own free will, no ethical trainer can guarantee a 100% "fix." However, we do guarantee our commitment. We provide lifetime support for our 3-week, 4-week, and 10-session graduates to ensure you have a partner for the life of your dog.
Payment Policy
To secure your dates for a Immersive Residency Training, a 50% deposit is required. For In-Home Coaching, full payment is due at the start of the first session.
Yes, we can split payments across multiple methods if needed via our PayPal or Stripe checkout. Just let us know your preference when booking.
