We specialize in comprehensive dog training programs, including intensive Board & Train programs where your dog lives with us for immersive learning, and personalized Private In-Home Training Services conducted in the comfort of your own home. Our training covers everything from basic obedience to addressing behavioral challenges.
At Your Dog's 2nd Home, we offer personalized care and tailored training. Our Board & Train programs provide an immersive experience for rapid progress in a home-like environment, while our Private In-Home Training Services offer customized solutions right where your dog lives. We prioritize individual attention and a low-stress, positive learning experience. Your dog's well-being and growth are our main focus.
To ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs, we require all training clients to be up-to-date on core vaccinations (Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, Bordetella) and to be flea and tick free. We'll discuss any specific behavioral needs or health concerns during our initial consultation to ensure our programs are a good fit for your dog. Your dog's health and happiness are our top priorities.
For Board & Train, please pack your dog's regular food (pre-portioned if possible), any necessary medications, and a favorite toy or blanket for comfort. For Private In-Home Training, we recommend a flat collar and a standard leash. We'll discuss any other preparations during your consultation. Our priority is ensuring your dog feels at home.
We have extensive experience caring for dogs with special needs, including those requiring medication. Please let us know about any health conditions, dietary restrictions, or behavioral quirks during your initial consultation. This helps us provide the best care for your dog during their training. We ensure a supportive and attentive environment for all our furry friends.
Yes! Our goal is long-term success. We offer follow-up support and resources after your dog completes their Board & Train program or Private In-Home Training Services to ensure you feel confident continuing their progress. We'll discuss the specifics of this support during your training consultation.
