Service Description

Leash Walking Class Classes are limited to 3 dogs each. The small class size ensures an environment conducive to learning. The Basics  Number of Classes: 4 weekly classes (Class will meet on the same day/time each week).  Length of Class: 60 minutes  Age: 6 months and up  Prerequisites: Confident dog to walk with a leash  Price: $250 This is a four-week mini course that happens in several locations. We work on leash walking in real life situations, including on sidewalks, at the park, in retail stores and past other dogs. The course addresses loose leash walking, jumping on people or dogs that you pass, and dealing with strange noises. This course does not address leash reactivity- this is covered in private lessons. By conducting the course in the outdoors and indoors, we can more easily simulate real-world scenarios, noises, and distractions that you may encounter. We meet in different locations in the NWI Crown Point area- each course and date are slightly different. Each week we will inform you where we will be meeting. If a day is rained out, we will improvise, including going inside a store. Please note that this class is not intended for overly reactive dogs who may exhibit overly aggressive behavior when passing other dogs or people. Cancellation Policy

RESCHEDULING AND CANCELLATION POLICY Payments are non-refundable; however, may be used as a credit under certain circumstances. Please see the specific guidelines for each service listed below. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns about these policies. PRIVATE LESSONS All scheduled private lessons must be cancelled or rescheduled a minimum of 24- Hours prior to the scheduled lesson time. Late cancellations and “No-Shows” will be charged at the normal rate. • Private lesson packages (5 Lessons) must be completed within 8-weeks beginning on the date of their first lesson. If the lessons are not completed within this time, it will be at the discretion of the assigned trainer and Your dogs 2ND home, LLC, to determine if the reason for the delay was warranted. • Rescheduling or Cancellations <24 hours prior to start time: Original payment is forfeited; new payment is required to reschedule. GROUP CLASSES It is the responsibility of each student to be on time and present for each class. • Make up classes are not available for missed classes; however, an abbreviated private lesson may be available at a prorated cost. Please contact us for details and current pricing information. • Rescheduling or Cancellations >14 days prior to start date: Original payments may be used as a credit to a future class or another service option. • Rescheduling or Cancellations <14 days prior to start date: Original payment is forfeited; new payment is required to reschedule. Obedience & Behavior Modification Program If you cancel or need to change the date of your Program the following restrictions apply • Deposits are non-refundable for any reason • Rescheduling or Cancellations >14 days prior to start date: Original payments may be used as a credit for a rescheduled appointment or another service option. • Rescheduling or Cancellations <14 days prior to start date: Original deposit is forfeited; a new deposit is required to reschedule.
