Service Description

Private Dog Lessons: We offer private dog training lessons at our facility, your home or on walks. We can work on manner-related behaviors, in addition to behavioral challenges such as leash reactivity, separation anxiety, barking and more. Private Lessons are customized based on what you want to work on. Why Private Lessons? Private lessons can cover every behavior that is taught in group classes, including leaving things alone, walking politely, coming when called and so forth. Some people find it helpful to work on specific factors in their home environment, that may not be as easily addressed in class, such as:  Leash reactivity  Loose leash walking  Politely greeting other dogs and people  Potty training  Barking  Biting dogs or people  Resource guarding  Chewing objects such as your furniture Customized Pace Some people want a customized pace. Some want more time in-between sessions, while some want to go faster and get in more sessions each week. Schedule Flexibility Further, private lessons can be done on your schedule, assuming we have availability. Some people can fit them in on weekends or during the day. In addition, the day of week could change from one session to the other. One-on-One Attention Some people learn more effectively in a one-on-one setting. We can spend as much time as you need in order to help you and your dog learn. Dog Focus Some dogs can’t focus as well in a setting such as a class. With private lessons, your dog can focus on the task at hand without being distracted by other nearby dogs. Cancellation Policy

RESCHEDULING AND CANCELLATION POLICY Payments are non-refundable; however, may be used as a credit under certain circumstances. Please see the specific guidelines for each service listed below. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns about these policies. PRIVATE LESSONS All scheduled private lessons must be cancelled or rescheduled a minimum of 24- Hours prior to the scheduled lesson time. Late cancellations and “No-Shows” will be charged at the normal rate. • Private lesson packages (5 Lessons) must be completed within 8-weeks beginning on the date of their first lesson. If the lessons are not completed within this time, it will be at the discretion of the assigned trainer and Your dogs 2ND home, LLC, to determine if the reason for the delay was warranted. • Rescheduling or Cancellations <24 hours prior to start time: Original payment is forfeited; new payment is required to reschedule. GROUP CLASSES It is the responsibility of each student to be on time and present for each class. • Make up classes are not available for missed classes; however, an abbreviated private lesson may be available at a prorated cost. Please contact us for details and current pricing information. • Rescheduling or Cancellations >14 days prior to start date: Original payments may be used as a credit to a future class or another service option. • Rescheduling or Cancellations <14 days prior to start date: Original payment is forfeited; new payment is required to reschedule. Obedience & Behavior Modification Program If you cancel or need to change the date of your Program the following restrictions apply • Deposits are non-refundable for any reason • Rescheduling or Cancellations >14 days prior to start date: Original payments may be used as a credit for a rescheduled appointment or another service option. • Rescheduling or Cancellations <14 days prior to start date: Original deposit is forfeited; a new deposit is required to reschedule.
