Terms of Service & Behavioral Partnership Agreement

Service Areas: Crown Point, St. John, Dyer, and Greater NWI


By engaging in services with Your Dogs 2nd Home LLC, the Owner agrees to the following terms:


1. The Behavioral Partnership
Dog training is a collaborative effort. While our residency and coaching programs provide a professional "reset" or "foundation," the long-term success of the dog depends entirely on the Owner’s commitment to maintaining the training at home. The Owner agrees to follow the provided roadmaps, attend all scheduled transfer sessions, and integrate the training into the dog's daily life.


2. Training Expectations & Results

  • Capacity to Learn: Every dog is an individual. Results vary based on the dog’s age, temperament, and prior behavioral history.

  • 14-Day Residency Limitation: Owner acknowledges that a 14-day residency is designed to build a foundation. Off-leash reliability is NOT guaranteed for any commands within a 14-day (or shorter) timeframe. * No Time-Based Guarantees: Behavioral mastery generally requires 90+ days of consistent reinforcement. We provide the tools and the reset; the Owner provides the lifetime of consistency.


3. Financial Policies (Non-Refundable)

  • The Boutique Model: Because we operate as a limited-enrollment facility, we reserve a specific spot for your dog and turn away other clients for those dates. Therefore, all payments for residency programs and coaching packages are non-refundable.

  • Coaching Expiration: To ensure training momentum, all multi-session coaching packages (5-session or 10-session) must be completed within six (6) months of the purchase date. Unused sessions are forfeited after this period.


4. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • 24-Hour Notice: We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice to reschedule a coaching session. Cancellations or "no-shows" with less than 24 hours' notice will result in the session being forfeited.

  • Residency Rescheduling: A 14-day notice is required to change a residency start date.


5. Health, Safety, & Aggression

  • Vaccinations: Proof of Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella is required for all residents.

  • Aggression Disclosure: Owners must disclose any history of biting, lunging, or snapping in writing prior to service. Human-directed aggression cannot be addressed in a residency setting.

  • Safety Protocol: For the safety of the trainer and the community, the Trainer reserves the right to use professional tools (e.g., slip leads, long lines, muzzles) as deemed necessary for safety and communication.


6. Liability Release
Owner remains at all times responsible for the actions of the dog. Your Dogs 2nd Home LLC is not liable for injuries to the dog, other animals, or humans, including injuries occurring during normal physical exercise (running, jumping, etc.). All behavioral advice is followed at the Owner’s own risk.


7. Media Release
Owner grants Your Dogs 2nd Home LLC the right to use photographs and videos of the dog taken during training for marketing, social media, and educational purposes.
